主讲人介绍：澳大利亚西澳大学植物营养学家，研究领域为土壤-植物-水-微生物系统中的养分循环，主要研究氮、磷、钾和锌、铜、锰等微量元素之间的关系，同时在根际细菌、真菌、根系分泌物化学分析、作物和牧草优化施肥、计算机模拟根系生长和养分吸收等领域也广泛开展研究。曾获得澳大利亚、联合国、德国、法国、奥地利和日本等国家的14项奖励。被聘为日本冈山大学、荷兰哥本哈根大学和美国康奈尔大学等多所大学的客座教授，还是地中海地区土壤酸化机制协会副主席。2007年，获得Plant&Soil杂志的最高仲裁奖（Top Referee Award）。
